The Safety and Labor Standards division assists employers and workers with labor standards compliance issues, including resolution of wage complaints and child labor complaints. NDOL also administers the Contractor Registration Act, the Employee Classification Act, the Farm Labor Contractors Act, and the Meatpacking Industry Workers Bill of Rights. Experts also conduct no-cost safety and health consultations to assist businesses in identifying potential hazards.
